Bagan is an ancient city and a UNESCO World Heritage Site in the Mandalay Region of Myanmar.

A team of Saving Lives volunteers visited the Shwe Gu Monastery Orphanage in 2019. The little monks looked at us with blank faces as they rarely see so many visitors. 

​

This orphanage took in, provided for and educated countless abandoned children from various minorities and different backgrounds, with the youngest being 4 years old.

 

The Saving Lives team raised and donated 100 bags of rice for the orphanage. 

 

蒲甘是缅甸曼德勒省的一个具有悠久历史的地方，于国境中部，坐落在伊洛瓦底河中游左岸。

2019年，我们到访了这里的一所佛学院，捐赠了100包米粮。这所佛学院有不少孤儿从小就在这里住宿。当中，不少是少数民族。他们各有不同的身世背景，最小的只有四岁。活动当天，住持也带着他们出席这个简单的米粮分发活动。由于他们鲜少看到有人到访佛学院，因此对我们的到来既好奇又兴奋。
