In 2017, Saving Lives distributed 700 blankets, rice and old clothing to 700 families.

Due to the lack of proper clothing and bedding among the extremely poor communities, death by hypothermia is very common in Nepal. Thus, winter items such as blankets are a massive lifeline for them to keep them warm and tide through the harsh winter. After understanding their plight, 29 Saving Lives volunteers came forward in 2017 and flew to Nepal, bringing blankets and clothing to the locals.

Despite having to work tirelessly to ensure that things went smoothy, the thought of being able to put a smile on someone's face makes everything worthwhile.
